Recycling
an older company owned facility presented
the design team with many creative challenges
including aging electrical and mechanical
systems and exceptionally small open floor
areas. The results, however, were very rewarding
to the client in terms of bottom line savings
and employee satisfaction. The furniture
system helped to create design elements
that give employees the feel and look of
spacious work places. The plan included;
break and huddle space, management offices,
supervisor and TSR workstations while only
using an overall average of 76 sq.ft. per
person. Features such as strategically placed
glass tiles helped to create an interior
landscape providing interesting views. Porches
were developed for temporary staff in workstation
clusters supporting the client's need for
housing part-time staff with senior representatives.
